I love this brand just as much as Dream Tan. I have always used Pro-tan competition colour as the base coat for any show as I feel it gives a great colour under Dream Tan. It is applied with a sponge type spatula and is absorbed into the skin. 2-3 layers is usually plenty if being used as a base under Dream Tan.

At this years BNBF British Finals I swapped my usual top coat of dream tan for Pro-Tan's newest product, Pro-Tan stage finish and the colour is fantastic. Application is much smoother, it feels like you are putting on a moisturiser. It doesn't need to be 'patted' on like Dream Tan, the smallest amount is required, you really don't need to sleep in it the night before and the colour is very even. The only thing I noticed is that I felt 'stickier' than in Dream Tan but given I only had to apply it briefly prior to going on stage it didn't really matter.
